HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I'm loving this Halloween season ... Seriously is Halloween so big now, that I just referred to it as a season. Ah.. Ya.. Duh... Were certainly going to get enough out of Halloween by the time the weekends over. I've already been to the Kindergarten party It was fun. My daughters had a Halloween Party at their school. LOVE THEIR NEW SCHOOL LUV IT! We have two costume parades today. And last night my Father in Law took my two girls to a Daddy Daughter Date. (Because my husband is out of town.) Very Sweet of him, they had a ball. And this morning One Renaissance Princess, One Cheerleader, and one Three Musketeer headed to school. My two others are at home.
So, I had quite a scare the other night with our Halloween candy dish going off in the middle of the night. While I was checking my son's glucose, screeching HAPPY HALLOWEEN. Well the first thing I did was turn off that bone chilling candy dish. And since then... I've been a little...unnerved let's say, you know jumpy. I think having my husband out of town has heightened my spooks. So last night as I turned off the TV. I noticed my son has left our kitchen lights on. So I went out and turned off the kitchen lights, as well as the hall lights. (he doesn't like the dark.) Got back into bed and thought about those glowing Halloween tree's outside and how I better get up and unplug them Grrrrrrrrrr.... I fight with myself "get out of bed, no stay in bed." I decided I better up and unplug them. As I went into the entry hall (where the scary candy dish is) And I heard the kitchen door close, the same room that I just turned off the lights in. So I'm sure it's one of my kids.. but it's pretty late. Around one in the morning. "Who up" I yell no replys... Then it happened the thing you pray will never happen... I heard footsteps. Someone is in my house... In my kitchen. The same room I had just turned the lights off in. My thoughts are racing, "Was there someone hiding in the kitchen when I turned out the lights?? I'm I suppose to be the protector SERIOUSLY?
(Me little old me who was afraid of the candy dish remember.)
How quickly can I get to a phone? And my kids.. my kids.. my kids.. The kitchen is pitch black and I only have this dinky hall light to see. I step closer to the kitchen. Again I hear a quite footstep on the wood floor. If this is my daughter and she's been looking for tights for her costume.. I'm going to ground her FOR LIFE. Through the darkness I can see the frame of a man.... A man's in my home! I can't move fright has taken over... It's too dark to see. And out of the shadows steps a big man. With glowing white teeth??? What the What????.... Out of the shadows steps my husband...................................................................I have no words that can express my horror. All I can say is I might forgive him when.... Never! I was not happy to see him! I'm pretty sure he didn't expect The White Witch from Narnia, but honey that's what he got. Believe me I can be pretty scary toooooo. His kind gesture of coming home early. WASTED!!!!!!!! Yes my husband likes to surprise me, this time he just terrorized me.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! (This is a complete and honest account of last night. Maybe not my husband's account, but since I'm not speaking to him BOOYAH!!!)
